Poor Miss Mary was really sick for about a week. Nasty fever, no appetite and raspy congestion. It was a little scary. Thankfully we are better now (thanks to prayer, a priesthood blessing, and medicine) - just a little cough left. You could tell she wasn't herself in this picture.

We switched to the toddler bed. She loved it when we did it but isn't sleeping well at night. Now we are trying having her sleep in Joe-Joe's full sized bed with him - Mommy desperately needs sleep!

My mom bought this blanket before she even had kids. Now her grandchild is using it. She loves her "naycket".

This was the craziest cucumber I have seen! It came out of our garden.

Dyed my hair. It was supposed to be dark, dark brown but it brought out all the red in my hair and I ended up a red-head. It looks good even though it wasn't what I had planned.

He was so excited to give Daddy the card and tshirt he picked out for him. He actually wanted to give it to Josh the night before but Mommy made him wait. Look at the grin!

Birthday Getaway

Took a beach getaway trip with Mom for her birthday. It was wonderful! Two days of relaxing enjoyment! We went to Beaufort and Morehead City. The weather was perfect for it. We browsed the shops, rode a ferry, ate some amazing seafood, and ended the first day sitting on the beach relaxing. The next day we visited the aquarium, saw Fort Macon, swam in the ocean, went for a beach walk and hit a few stores on the way home. It was a trip I will never forget! So much fun and so needed! I love you Mom!
